Finnish sauna and hot tub

Finnish saunas have become a part of our lives today. Bathhouse enthusiasts argued for a while about which is better and more useful – a dry sauna or a Russian bath with a steam room, and then they stopped arguing. Because they realized that both are good, if used in moderation and with knowledge. And they found a compromise – to go to health complexes where there is a sauna, a steam room, a shower, and a swimming pool. A little bit of everything – a holiday for the soul and body.

A tub is a cast-iron bath. It is lined with mountain stones and is heated from below with firewood. The tub is filled with spring water in which Carpathian herbs are steamed and heated to 38-45°C. The optimal temperature of the liquid in the tub is 40°C, it is this temperature that allows you to reveal the full healing power of water. Bathing in a tub should be alternated with immersion in cold water. You can immerse yourself in an ice pool located nearby or simply lie in the Carpathian snow. A sharp change in temperature has a positive effect on the human body. Regular visits to the tub greatly reduce the risk of colds, improve the functioning of the nervous and cardiovascular systems.
